You might know Donald Glover as Childish Gambino, but really, the man is an all-around creative powerhouse. The rapper, actor, producer, and director previously turned his hand to sneaker design through his collaboration with adidas in 2020, but after the partnership ended, it was New Balance that snapped him up. A day after announcing the newfound partnership, the duo dropped the Donald Glover x New Balance RC30 "Golden Hour" - a new model that suits Glover's understated and simplistic style perfectly.

Arriving alongside a "Sea Salt" colourway, the "Golden Hour" Donald Glover RC30 takes inspiration from retro silhouettes like the Trackster racing shoe, with a few updated details to bring it into 2022. Constructed from a mix of nylon and suede, the vibrant "Golden Hour" hue takes on an almost tonal effect across the sneaker's rippled upper, whilst white detailing on the 'N' logo and collar add a pop of contrast. Underfoot, dark-coloured gum soles boast an exaggerated, ridged tread in line with the Trackster, although a subtle curve adds a modern touch.
