Nike Air Flightposite Metallic Gold

Nike reissues the futuristic Air Flightposite in the OG “Metallic Gold” to celebrate the basketball silhouette’s 25th anniversary. This next-gen model, designed by Eric Avar, was a staple on the basketball court, often worn by athletes playing forward and centre positions. Aside from its basketball origins, the silhouette saw action in the 2002 Spider-Man movie as part of Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin outfit.

Replicating the ‘99 edition, this Air Flightposite features a glossy metallic gold upper constructed in a solid Foamposite shell. The black neoprene shroud makes up the midfoot and collar, adorned with white Swoosh logos on the tongue and rear. A standard lacing system lies hidden underneath the fabric for a supportive fit. Nike Zoom technology provides springy, responsive cushioning to lift you off the floor, backed by a wavy rubber outsole and metallic silver shank plate.
