With Chinese New Year just around the corner, the Swoosh label and Jordan brand have unveiled the Jordan 5 Low Chinese New Year Sail Chile Red to the masses. Though the Air Jordan 5 in a low top version might not be everyone's cup of tea, the forthcoming rendition of Michael Jordan's fifth signature basketball sneaker flaunts a festive colour palette that allows you to celebrate the most exciting time of the year in style.

At first look, the kicks showcase a subtle cream colorway, and overlays across the structure adorn a chile red hue for a touch of contrast, including the inner lining. While traditional features from the High OG silhouette remains present here such as the medial netting, Air infused sail midsole lined with a rubber outsole for cushioned strides on and off the court, and the Jumpman logo on black tinted tongue tags, a closer look at the official images show CNY-inspired graphics printed underneath the wear-away canvas that crafts the upper. Completing the design are banner logos and additional text embroidered on the heel and behind the tongue.
