The Air Max 1 is all set for a big 2023, with drops like the Big Bubble, Crepe and Shima Shima all highlighting the silhouette’s rich history. On the other hand, this edition strays away from any original or traditional make-ups, opting for a wild assortment of prints and materials instead. If you’re a fan of playful takes on classic models then make sure you’ve got your eye out for the Air Max 1 “Corduroy Tiger Leopard”.
First off is the light blue corduroy which forms the mudguard panel, drawing similarities to the “Baltic Blue” edition which is also set to drop in 2023. Then on the toe, a shimmery floral print replaces the standard white mesh, a just move considering hardly anyone actually runs in the Air Max 1 in this day and age. Who needs breathability when you can be jazzy? Speaking of, heading up the ankle collar we have a leopard print which is sure to split opinions, even for those who own any of the atmos ‘Safari’ pairs. Inside, the animal theme continues, with a yellow-tinted zebra print that matches nicely with the laces. As far as the logos, Nike decides to keep it surprisingly simple with a black that complements the outsole below, which along with the dark beige midsole, helps tone down the overall aesthetic.
Feeling like you need a pair of lively trainers in your life? In that case, these should definitely be on your purchase list for 2023. Tune into The Sole Supplier for more information on when the Nike Air Max 1 “Corduroy Tiger Leopard” will drop!
