Before the 30th anniversary of Tinker Hatfield's legendary sneaker comes close to an end, a closer look at the forthcoming release of the Nike Air Max 3 Archetype boasts a design that has seasoned sneaker veterans recollecting their memories back from their early OG sneakerhead days.
Before the Air Max 90 made its grand debut in the sneaker universe and became a huge icon on the sports track and fashion scene, it was formally known by its original moniker, the Air Max 3. Working on a colour palette very much like the OG Infrared colorway, the anticipated drop of the AM3 Archetype showcases a thematic under-construction aesthetic seen on its overlays. Rough cut edges and supple suede features on the panel across the shoe while a mesh toe box makes an appearance on the forefoot too.
While core components such as the heel tab and eyestay envelop a bright crimson hue we all know and love, descending upon its lateral and medial sides is the brand's signature Swoosh logo in a blanched out tone to match the Air infused midsole below.
If you are keen as we are on the Nike Air Max III PRM, watch this space as the pair is already up and loaded on the SNKRS app and via select retailers for an official launch on the 10th December. Make sure you turn on the bell notifications above if you do not want to miss out on pure heat!
