Nike reveals the next step in its Air Max Dynamic lineup with the Dn8. Carrying on its theme of top tier wordplay, the Dn8 is name that simply rolls off the tongue. Bearing the name of its predecessor in the Air Max Dn, the addition of the number ‘8’ is a recognition of the eight chambers of Air that are located on the sole unit. Bursting onto the scene in a predominantly red colourway, the upper takes inspiration from former Air Max icons such as the AM96. No haptic details can be located above as a large synthetic overlay adds durability to the mesh knit below, almost like a reverse of the TPU cage on the Tn. Placing a focus on a seamless design, the eyestay panel blends neatly into the upper, with extra 3M accents adding visibility. A glossy mini Swoosh under the ankle collar matches the heel cage at the rear, while the tongue boasts a revised pill logo detailing a contemporary “air MAX” font.
