Jun Takahashi is back with yet another ultra fire Swoosh collaboration, this time in the form of the Gyakusou x Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 36 Trail Red! A shoe that caught the imagination of athletes and sneakerheads everywhere when it leaked earlier this summer, here’s your chance to finally add these to your collection!
Building on the world renowned Air Zoom Pegasus 36 silhouette, the UNDERCOVER designer has given the running shoe a slightly beefier construction, meaning its ideal for the wet and windy months ahead. Crafted from mesh, suede, and leather, the upper is dipped in a fiery hot hue, while clean white accents make their way to the toe box for a colour blocked look. Dark navy tones also peek through the mudguards and lacing system, providing the shoe with an intriguing aesthetic that’s sure to turn heads.
A delicate pink rose hits the lateral sides while the classic Swoosh Sunburst motif adorns the heel for vintage vibes. “Gyakusou went the distance” is printed across the toe box in a serif font, and it’s all rounded off by an Air infused midsole.
While the Gyakusou x Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 36 Trail Red certainly isn’t as hyped as Takahashi’s other collaborations, it definitely deserves a spot in your rotation, so make sure to grab a pair when it drops on September 26th!
