Nike TN Air Max Plus Drift Baroque Brown

After an impressive launch in late 2023, Nike introduces fresh seasonal flavours of the TN Air Max Plus Drift. Debuting in a “Baroque Brown” rendition for Spring ‘24, the robust silhouette has been a fitting tribute to its ‘98 counterpart, which spearheaded the legendary Tuned series.

Light and dark shades of brown animate the lightweight mesh upper, forming a signature gradient detail popularised by the TN. This contrast of colours has been repeated on the TPU cage, which produces a wavy “lava lamp” aesthetic inspired by Air Max Plus designer Sean McDowell’s portrayal of Florida palm trees. The Nike Swoosh logo adorns the lateral rear, complementing the branding on the tongue. Visible bubbles on the PU midsole provide ample bounce and cushioning, stabilised by a rigid whale’s tail shank plate offering torsional support. Classic waffle patterns construct the outsole, a nod to the brand’s patented sole design spanning decades.
