Nike TN Air Max Plus Light Photography Blue

After landing in a plethora of colourways donning the model’s signature gradient effect, Nike has another “Light Photography” iteration of the iconic TN Air Max Plus, further elevating the silhouette’s 2023 release roster to celebrate its 25th anniversary. While the previous rendition arrived in a bright, fiery tone, this Nike TN Blue Light Photography colourway opts for a cooler hue, engulfing the canvas-constructed upper with blue pigments to join recent cool-coloured styles like the “Marseille” and “Black Blue Gradient”.

This variant is unlike any other TN Air Max Plus we’ve seen. This blue Nike TN has a gradient blue canvas upper highlighted by wavy neon white lines to achieve the “Light Photography” theme, replacing the traditional TPU overlays and leather mudguard. Although trimmed down, we can still rely on the black protective toe cap and patent leather heel panel to reinforce the lightweight structure of the shoe. The tongue incorporates glossy patent leather materials embedded with a metallic silver Nike logo for a premium flair, while the signature yellow TN logo adorns the heel. A white PU midsole features visible Tuned Air units on the forefoot and heel, with the gradient blue whale’s tail shank plate serving as a bridge between the front and back sections. The graphics-heavy sockliner mimics the heel Tuned Air bubble, highlighting the technology implemented in 1998. Wrapping up the detailing on this Nike TN blue is a black rubber outsole with waffle traction patterns, paying homage to Bill Bowerman's infamous waffle iron that helped push the Swoosh to where it is today.
