OPEN YY x PUMA Speedcat Black

Once designed for high-speed racecars, the archival PUMA Speedcat reemerges in a limited-edition collaboration with OPEN YY. Founded by sisters Jiyoung and Boyoung Kim, the South Korean fashion label has steadily grown since its opening in 2020. The OPEN YY x PUMA Speedcat “Black” completes the trifecta of colourways in the collaborative capsule, kitted in its classic low-profile design with terrace-inspired aesthetics.

Anchored by a thin rubber sole, this late ‘90s trainer boasts a blacked-out upper crafted in cow suede and mesh. Embroidered cat logos decorate the toe and heel, a nod to the German sportswear powerhouse's sports heritage. Metallic silver accents animate the Formstrip on the sides, serving as the centrepiece atop the stealthy black base. The detachable fold-over tongue displays a football-inspired makeover adorned with stitched PUMA branding. Co-branded labels embellish the insole and rear, highlighting the silhouette's special-edition details.
