Eames Office x Reebok Classic Leather Fiberglass Pink

The legendary Ray and Charles Eames-founded Eames Office design studio has teamed up with Reebok to work on a one-of-a-kind Classic Leather collection based on one of the studio’s most iconic pieces. Introducing one of its three colourways, the Eames Office x Reebok Classic Leather Fiberglass Pink.

This Classic Leather mimics the Eames Moulded Fibreglass Chair. The leather upper has been painstakingly reworked to look just like fibreglass from heel to toe and from base to overlays. This pair comes in a Pink monotone just like the Eames chair that came out in 1968 when the line expanded with more vivid hues. The laces are also perfectly colour-matched to the rest of the shoe. The Eames Office logo is white against pink on the tongue tabs. The insoles show off a 16mm print of the chair from the 1960 film, Kaleidoscope Jazz Chair, together with the Reebok and Eames Office logos. The lateral mid-panel window box swaps out Reebok branding for a debossed Eames script logo. A two-piece white EVA midsole and a grey rubber outsole wrap up the design of this sneaker.
