Palace x Reebok Club C 2 Mid Revenge Tan

UK Skate brand Palace has reignited an old partnership with Reebok for its upcoming Spring/Summer 2023 collection. The first time we saw the duo working together was back in 2013, when they released three editions of the Reebok Classic Leather. Now working on the Club C 2 Mid Revenge, the focus is placed on the silhouette’s ‘80s origins.

The upper on the “Tan” edition is formed from a light brown leather that seldom changes shade from heel to toe. The Palace moniker is swapped in at the window, a small Union Jack stitched on the end in typical Reebok fashion. On the rear heel panel, a spell out is debossed into the leather, a change from previous collaborative editions where the rear was a favourite spot for Palace’s Tri-Ferg. As per usual, you can find a repeat print on the laces, a feature that has frequently been part of the duo’s collaborative history. Rounding off the package are the icy outsoles, a detail that has played a significant role within Reebok’s history, so much so that past releases of the Classic Leathers earned the nickname “Reebok Ice”.
