Bronx rapper Jae Tips revives the Y2K-coded Saucony Matrix for his fourth collaboration “No Shoes In The House”. Last seen in 2000, this archival sneaker is ready for a much-awaited comeback after being spotted during Paris Fashion Week. Following a limited drop in ComplexCon Las Vegas, the Jae Tips x Saucony Matrix “Burgundy” gears up for a wider release, paying homage to The Savior’s roots in hat-making by incorporating a premium material update to the vivid, nostalgia-fueled model.
This colourway arrives in a luxe burgundy wool upper with silver Saucony stripes on the sidewalls donning an elegant texture. Woven co-branded logos animate the green open mesh tongue, complementing the NYC native’s colourful flower symbol and purple “Savior” callout on the rear. Brown suede overlays appear on the toe and back, whilst the textile eyestays and collar bolster the silhouette’s streamlined construction. The lavender purple foam midsole carries a carbon fibre plate on the midfoot for stable cushioning, propped up by green semi-translucent pods on the rugged black outsole. Additional storytelling embellishes the blue sockliners, complementing the special-edition shoe box.
Set for a 6th of December release date in select UK retailers like END, you can find out where to buy the Jae Tips x Saucony Matrix “Burgundy” by keeping it locked to The Sole Supplier!
