Tomoya Nagase x Vans ANTI-NORMAL Blue

Japanese singer-songwriter, actor, and model, Tomoya Nagase, has just tied up with Vans and bilingual motorcycle publication, ROLLER magazine, to come up with a bike-ready shoe collection. Check out the Tomoya Nagase x Vans ANTI-NORMAL Blue.

This variant of the ANTI-NORMAL collection is named after Nagase’s popular serial column in the magazine, “Anti-Normal Genuine Excuse”. Designed by Nagase himself, this pair features a well-padded velcro strap with a velour-like material and exposed stitching showing off a circular pattern. The distinctive construction of the shoe helps to reduce the strain on the feet when cycling. Fabric tags in white and blue can be found on the lateral side of the straps and 'TOM' (Nagase’s nickname) embroidery adorns on the lateral heel. The insoles display co-branding in black and red. A black rubber sole unit outlined by contrasting blue piping rounds out the style of this shoe.
