The MoCA x Vans Holiday Pack 2021 Pays Homage to California

Since transitioning from the halfpipe to the streets many years ago, Vans has hosted collaborations that remain highly sought after—recent offerings include colourways designed by Palace Skateboards, A Bathing Ape, and even heavy metal band Metallica. Today, the renowned California-bred skate imprint will be diving further into the world of art via a partnership with MoCA (Museum of Contemporary Art) in Los Angeles.

Sneakerheads are no stranger to co-branded ensembles between Vans and museums. In 2020, Vans teamed up with MoMA (Museum of Modern Art) in New York City. This time, the upcoming MoCA x Vans Holiday Pack 2021 will be paying homage to California by exhibiting works from artists Judy Baca, Brenna Youngblood and Frances Stark.

The ensemble consists of three fan-favourite Vans silhouettes: Sk8 Hi, Slip-On and Authentic. All pairs maintain their standard build and adorn the signature touch of the artists, all while also referencing some of California's historical background.
