Just like the adidas Superstar ahead of it, the 38-year-old Forum silhouette has a restaurant edition. Meet its latest drop that pays homage to the Brooklyn-based pizzeria, the adidas Forum High Cuts & Slices.
This high-cut Forum has a very vintage feel to it. The toe box, tongue, heel counter and mid-panel Three Stripes on both the medial and lateral sides of the shoe are a deep shade of burgundy, reminiscent of pepperoni. The other leather overlays on the toe cap, the eye stay panel, the foxing and the collar accents are all in white while the laces are dough-like beige.
Cuts & Slices-inspired details include the “Pull Up Beloved” on the beige coloured collar strap, the resto’s logo on the burgundy tongue tab, the address of Cuts & Slices on the collar and the special branded circular red TPU hangtag. A cream-coloured midsole and a brown rubber outsole cap off the look of these kicks.
Grab the adidas Forum High Cuts & Slices on The Sole Supplier app and never miss any new introductions from adidas’ release calendar.
