Reworking the cult classic FYW S-97 silhouette from 1997, here’s everything that you need to know about this legendary shoe.
Painted in a striking black and white palette, a colour scheme that has become synonymous with the iconic Japanese designer, a bold red hue also surrounds the collar, providing the shoe with a pop of contrast.
In terms of materials, a stretchy Primeknit wraps around the entire upper for a comfortable sock like fit, and complementary suede panels hit the toe box and heel. A TPU cage flanks the side panels for added support and stability, and this also acts as the shoe’s lacing system. Down below, you’ll find a chunky foam midsole that houses a full length bed of Boost – a feature that’s never been done before on this particular silhouette – and this is lined with rubber for added traction with every step.
