This Stan Smith is one of the most unusual renditions to date. While it remains minimalist in an all white upper, that zip construct which dominates across the entire shoe is a totally unique feature. It contours the lace surround, while Y3 branding is shown on the zipper.
Elsewhere and everything remains contemporary in a full monochromatic theme. The addition of a chunkier heel overlay looks almost reminiscent of the NMD design. The cut-out construct of the ankle surround is also more contemporary. It showcases a style similar to the new ZX Flux’s. As Y3 have fused popular and modern elements from several shoes, this Stan Smith manages to stand apart from all others.
