Aritzia x ASICS Gel-Kayano 14 White Black

Vintage aesthetics exhibiting “everyday luxury” design elements dominate this collaborative ASICS Gel-Kayano 14 colourway between Canadian women’s apparel brand Aritzia and the Japanese athleisure company ASICS. This collab marks Aritzia’s first exclusive collaboration, consisting of three limited-edition Gel-Kayano 14 renditions. The “White Black” colourway adds sail white and light grey accents into the mix to deliver that vintage flair seen on recent ASICS Gel-Kayano 14 releases.

Founded in 1984 by Brian Hill, Aritzia steadily built its name from the ground up, selling a variety of apparel and carrying high-end brands to form its “Everyday Luxury” label. This ASICS Gel-Kayano 14 collab resonates with the brand’s design ethos, preserving the beloved 2008 running shoe’s build while subtly adding Aritzia’s label. The shoe has a clean white mesh and synthetic leather construction. Black accents adorn the ASICS stripes, while vintage-inspired sail white tones cover the tongue and some portions of the midsole and outsole. Grey hues emblazon the rear and GEL cushioning technology. Aritizia branding appears on the sockliner of the left pair, with ASICS on the other shoe. The sail white outsole wraps up the design of this premium collaboration.
