BEAMS x ASICS GEL-Kayano 14 Black Sand

In recent years, footwear label ASICS has seen a few noteworthy collaborations with the likes of Awake NY and JJJJound. Now, the latest BEAMS x ASICS GEL-Kayano 14 Black Sand offering features a design affiliated with the Japanese clothing imprint, BEAMS.

Using the famous 2008 retro running model, this Gel Kayano 14 opts for a stealthy setup by way of a predominantly black base. Unlike the GR renditions, this pair from BEAMS come with weather-resistant GORE-TEX panels and a detachable mosquito net connected to the upper. A red Fidlock buckle strap across the forefoot elevates the shoe's functionality, moving away from a lifestyle focus. Completing the design is a GEL-cushioned midsole unit in a pre-aged yellow finish.
