JJJJound x ASICS GEL-Kayano 14 Metallic Silver White

Mood board-turned-design-studio JJJJound is easily one of the most sought-after collaborators in the sneaker scene right now, with every pair it touches selling out within minutes. Having teamed up with New Balance on a number of occasions, the brand has now been tapped by ASICS for its take on the GEL-Kayano 14, the latest retro running silhouette to have experienced a bit of a renaissance. Having been previewed in early April 2022, the JJJJound x ASICS GEL-Kayano "Metallic/Silver/White" has officially been confirmed, so here's a closer look at the sneaker.

One of two colourways, the "Metallic/Silver/White" JJJJound GEL-Kayano 14 sees the muted colour palette we'd expect from Justin Saunders' brand take over the sneaker's upper, with a white mesh base giving way to silver and white detailing across the overlays. The sole takes on a tonal white and cream make-up, and JJJJound branding appears in an even more minimal fashion than normal, only gracing the pair's heels and insoles. The resulting collab is a subtle flex, but as with all JJJJound sneakers, it's more a case of IYKYK. With these being as clean as they are and the retro runner trend fully underway again, we're expecting them to be a tricky cop, so be sure to hit the release reminders if you're looking to add these to your collection.
