New Balance 580 Grey Purple Navy

While the New Balance 580 has seen its share of collaborations, it only gained a huge following in Japan thanks to its very first joint effort with Mita Sneakers of Ueno and MadHECTIC, a Tokyo fashion label, in 1999. This NB 580 has a navy mesh base and light blue suede overlays. The “N” logos on the flanks are also light blue but with navy outlines that make them stand out against the background. Purple joins the colour palette by way of the tongue lining, the toe accents, the tongue branding and the heel tabs. The white and light grey midsole is embellished with purple Rollbar branding, indicating that the shoe is enhanced with the brand’s stabilising tech. A dark grey rubber outsole caps off the whole ensemble.
