KAWS x Sky High Farm x Nike Cloud Force 1 Black

Dover Street Market New York celebrates its 10th anniversary with an exclusive collection featuring KAWS, Nike, and Sky High Farm Workwear. This three-way powerhouse collaboration supports Sky High Farm Hudson Valley, a nonprofit organisation focused on increasing access to fresh and local food for underprivileged communities. Consisting of apparel and footwear, the noble project highlights the Cloud Force 1, an updated take on the timeless Air Force 1. The KAWS Sky High Farm Nike Air Force 1 Low “Black” equips the tonal colourway with a handcrafted cloud Swoosh inspired by KAWS’ distinct art style.

Sky High Farm Universe sought help from local New York-based producers to create these one-of-a-kind AF1s. Designers from two Brooklyn-based manufacturers customised the dark grey cloud Swooshes by hand, while artisans from a cut and sew facility in Hudson Valley wrapped up the stitching to replicate KAWS’ signature cartoonish aesthetic. The upper boasts a standard smooth leather construction, engulfed in all-black. Meanwhile, metallic silver lace dubraes add a shiny look to the timeless sneaker. Classic Nike Air on the tongue and heel stay true to the model’s standard design. Elsewhere, the Air-branded midsole conceals a bouncy Air unit for cushioning. The Nike AF1’s signature star-studded and pivot circle traction patterns conclude the stealthy design of this limited-edition colourway.
