Opium Paris x Jordan Air Ship Sail Blue Black

French streetwear boutique Opium Paris unveils its first-ever collaboration with Jordan Brand featuring the archival Air Ship. The brick-and-mortar store earned the opportunity of a lifetime after hosting the 20th anniversary of the Quai 54 streetball event in ‘23. Paying homage to the Moroccan-French heritage of brand founders Yace and Mounir, the Opium Paris x Jordan Air Ship “Sail Blue Black” employs a clean colour palette with tearaway details revealing intricate Moroccan culture patterns.

This colourway features a sail leather upper with black overlays and a purple suede collar. Light blue accents animate the embroidered stars on the lateral forefoot, tongue, and rear, whilst the “Designed in Châtelet” branding is an ode to Opium’s origins. The branded lace tips and debossed label in the rear join the chock-full of special-edition details. Cracked leather materials construct the eyestay for a vintage aesthetic. The tearaway textile Swooshes unravel a colourful mosaic pattern inspired by Moroccan zellige tiles, a design utilised on the nylon heel and co-branded sockliner. This limited-edition sneaker arrives with a purple Flight Club key ring and an intricate silk wrap to complement the theme.
