While it might seem strange that Salomon and atmos haven’t already collaborated, this recent teaser has revealed that we won’t have to wait much longer. When it comes to retail spaces that helped pioneer the streetwear and sneaker movement, atmos has to exist among the top 3. Based in the land of the rising sun, atmos’ ability to pump out solid products has been consistent since it opened its doors in 2000. As Salomon enters the picture with what looks to be its highly sought after XT-6 , you’ll have to be hot off the press with these.
From what we can tell so far, the upper is kitted out in a black and grey colour palette, with the usual XT-6 branding accents. In keeping to atmos’ design toolkit, a repeat star pattern decorates the heel, wrapping around onto the front portion of the shoe. A black and white speckled midsole is supported by the semi-translucent Agile Chassis System that halts this XT-6 in its trail running roots. Co-branding is written onto the midsole in a simple font, a marker of the clean aesthetic expected with this collaboration.
Make sure to check in with us at The Sole Supplier where we can give you further updates on this pair of atmos x Salomon XT-6 “Grey Black”. In the meantime, it might be worth checking out the RECUT editions such as the “Monument Phantom” and “Wren Kangaroo”!
