End x Salomon XT-6 Dark Truffle

Newcastle-based retailer END. teams up with French outdoor equipment company Salomon for their second collaborative venture featuring the Salomon XT-6. With the Gorpcore trend at its peak, this powerhouse collab is a testament to the streetwear versatility of Salomon’s iconic trail running models. The End x Salomon XT-6 “Dark Truffle” draws inspiration from truffles in the wilderness to deliver that visual edge in this autumn-ready colour scheme.

Following the success of the debut collaboration between END. and Salomon with the XT-Wings 2 “Sirocco”, the two brands step it up a notch with another outdoor-inspired theme. The shoe has a black mesh construction, serving up the perfect base layer for the earthy beige and light brown overlays to mimic the aesthetics of the titular subterranean fungi. Usual Salomon branding emblazons the lateral rear and tongue, while the brand’s proprietary ACS frame comes in olive green hues to complement the khaki and light brown EVA midsole. Co-branded insoles feature a truffle background for an immersive approach. Rounding out the design is the Contagrip outsole with a perfectly implemented beige tone as a tribute to the woodlands where truffles grow and are harvested.
