Vans Knu-Skool White Gum

Did you know that Vans has an archivist and historian on its team? Her name is Catherine Acosta and she helps with designing retro releases. Case in point is the brand’s ‘90s-inspired, puffy shoe, the Knu-Skool. Check out one of its latest releases, the Vans Knu-Skool “White Gum”.

This Knu-Skool has a durable suede upper in white. The puffy tongues, chunky white laces and 3D-moulded Sidestripes give the shoe a distinct ‘90s vibe. Padded ankle collars make the shoe more comfortable whilst the ribbed heel pull tabs make it easier to put on and pull off. Red “Off the Wall” branding can be found on the tongues. Red rubber patches with the white “Off the Wall” logo, on the other hand, can be found on the midsole heel spines. The brand’s signature gum waffle outsole caps off this release.
