An exciting sneaker story for next year is the launch of the "Rare Air" series, featuring the Jordan 1, Jordan 3, and Jordan 4. These sneakers showcase cohesive colour palettes and fresh updates to each shoe's classic branding. News just in: a "Deep Royal Blue" version is scheduled for release in April 2025.
Although the Air Jordan 1 might not hold the same allure as it did in previous years, Jordan Brand is set to change that with a series of bold releases next year in honour of its 40th anniversary. Recent rumours from reputable sources hint at collaborations with Off-White™ and Fragment Design x Union LA. The "Rare Air" series returns and will expand with two new Air Jordan 1 High OGs.
Earlier we got a close look at the Air Jordan 1 High OG Rare Air “Cinnabar” circulating the internet and now @SneakerKnockerzLLC has shared images of its “Deep Royal Blue” counterpart. This pair features a white leather base, royal blue overlays, black Swooshes, and grey suede on the collar. It also boasts an asymmetric Wings logo, alternating between "Nike Air" and "Air Jordan" on the left and right shoes.
The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Rare Air Deep Royal Blue is reminiscent of Union LA's OG clashing design language, incorporating "Storm Blue" and "Neutral Grey" hues. The standout feature is the tongue, adorned with a black, red, and white "Rare Air" tag, tying it to the series.
The release is anticipated for April 2025 via Nike SNKRS and select retailers, priced at £145. Click the 'Notify me' button above, and we'll alert you when they drop.
