If you thought 2021 was a big year for Yeezys, wait until you see what's in-store for 2022! Not only will Kanye West be introducing some brand new silhouettes, he'll also be revisiting classic 350 V2 designs and restocking one of the most iconic 700 V2s ever made. While we can't predict what will be releasing for the entire year, we have a pretty good idea of what to expect over the next six months - so take a look down below right now!
Of course with today's uncertain climate where delays and stock issues are the norm, there's a possibility that some of these may drop later in the year. However, there's also a chance that there will be even more sneakers that we haven't even talked about. Whatever the case may be we'll keep this article continuously updated, so make sure you keep it locked right here for everything that you need to know!
So what are you waiting for? Take a look at the Yeezy 2022 releases and let us know which pairs you want to cop!
As always, Ye will be placing a huge focus on his signature Yeezy Boost 350 V2 this year. Over the next few months he'll be dropping the ultra clean "Pure Oat" as well as the fan-favourite "Dazzling Blue" that harkens back to 2016's "Black Friday" Pack. These are both perfect for the spring and summer months.
The "MX Blue" will also be making its grand debut. Marking the third colourway to grace the hyped "MX" line-up, this one is probably the best one of the three. Finally, the CMPCT "Slate Red" will be dropping soon. The second CMPCT pair after the "Slate Blue", this revamped model is slowly but surely growing on us.
Following the release of the "Resin", it looks like Kanye will be revisiting another classic colourway with the Yeezy 450 "Sulfur". Arriving in a soft yellow hue, if these weren't made for the sizzling summer months then we don't know what is.
With a sock-like Primeknit construction, the biggest feature of the Yeezy 450 is the sharktooth-inspired EVA midsole that aggressively embraces the upper. While this avant-garde aesthetic definitely isn't for the faint hearted, this is, hands down, one of the best silhouettes to come from Team Ye.
Yes, you read that right: The iconic Yeezy Boost 700 V2 "Static" will be getting a major restock very soon. Regarded by many sneakerheads as the best Yeezy ever made, the legendary colourway released all the way back in 2018 and continues to be one of the most hyped pairs even four years later. If you didn't manage to secure a pair back in the day then now is your chance.
While we're on the topic of the Yeezy Boost 700, three more MNVNs are scheduled to launch soon too. Included are the "Geode", "Resin", and "Wash Cream" which all feature full nylon uppers, stealthy all-black Boost midsoles, and 3M hits throughout. Kanye's infinite lacing system can also be found here.
It's crazy to think that even after seven years the legendary 950 still doesn't have a successor - until now, that is. First teased at the beginning of 2021, the Yeezy 1050 is set to be the spiritual sequel to the Duckboot, and the Yeezy 1050 "Hi-Res Orange" will be the colourway that will debut the brand new silhouette.
Unlike anything that we've seen before, this is one of West's most ambitious models to date. Taking the traditional concept of a boot and turning it on its head, it's dressed in a bright orange colour scheme while a front zipper offers the ultimate lockdown fit. The tongue seems to be taken straight from the Yeezy 500 "Stone", and the midsole features a highly sculpted design complete with a Continental outsole underfoot. This company usually makes car tyres and they famously produce rubber for the Ultra Boost.
If you want a Foam Runner for the colder months, the Yeezy Knit Runner is the shoe for you. Following the release of the "Sulfur", it looks like we'll be getting the Yeezy Knit Runner "Stone Carbon" very soon - and here's everything that we know so far.
Featuring the exact same shape and structure as the aforementioned Foam RNNR, this KNIT RNR is fully dressed with an insulated material. This surrounds an EVA foam upper, with the top third painted in a deep yellow accent and the bottom two-thirds dipped in a dark charcoal hue. Just like the early samples, the shoe size is finely printed around the heel. We're not entirely sure why this is necessary but we kind of like the deconstructed industrial look.
And last but not least, the Yeezy Slide will be getting some serious love over the next few months with not one, but two brand new colourways. Kicking it all off with the "Charcoal Black", we're finally getting the "Triple Black" pair that we've been dreaming of for years. The "MX Cream" is also making its debut too. Both pairs are crafted from cushioned EVA foam and will be pretty limited.
With that said, don't forget that the Slide usually restocks every three months. So if you don't manage to secure these colourways the first time around then you won't have to wait too long for them to re-release again.
