After a plethora of restocks and the introduction of brand-new models, the adidas NMD line harkens back to its humble beginnings in 2015 as adidas reissues the NMD R1 variation. This OG model pioneered the brand’s full-length Boost technology alongside the Ultra Boost and Yeezy Boost 350. The “Black Cloud White Grey” rendition displays a clean and classic colour palette headlined by its contrasting titular hues.

Designed for the city explorer, the adidas NMD delivers comfort for casual and leisure activities, making it one of the most versatile adidas trainers during the mid-2010s. The iconic NMD R1 returns to commemorate its ‘80s-inspired design that revolutionised the adidas Originals roster. This colourway flaunts a blacked-out stretchy knit upper composed of 50% recycled materials. White 3-Stripes on the sides and a minimalist Trefoil logo on the tongue juxtapose the dark base. Rubber plugs inspired by the adidas Boston Super appear on the lateral and medial panel, surrounding the pristine full-length Boost midsole to blend maximum cushioning and controlled stability. Cored-out hexagonal traction patterns cap off this OG NMD design.
