Star Wars x Nanzuka x adidas NMD R1 Black

Stealthy and stylish, the Star Wars x Nanzuka x adidas NMD R1 “Black” represents the infamous Sith Lord Darth Vader. Designed by Japanese artist Tetsuya Nakamura, this limited-edition NMD is one of the most highly coveted styles in the three-way footwear and apparel collection starring the Star Wars franchise and Tokyo-based art gallery Nanzuka.

This iteration features a blacked-out mesh upper with a glossy flame-like overlay on the forefoot replicating Vader’s iconic helmet. Shiny 3-Stripes adorn the side panels, whilst the Trefoil graces the tongue and rubber heel. Co-branded adidas and Star Wars logos animate the sockliners. A full-length Boost foam provides long-lasting cushioning and comfort, stabilised by rubber inserts. A red “Most Impressive” label appears on the heel portion of the midsole, a nod to the Sith Lord’s quote. This colourway comes packaged in a special-edition box with spare black laces and a Darth Vader hangtag.
