Celebrating its 75th anniversary, adidas unveils the special-edition SL 72 75th Anniversary “Red White” to commemorate the milestone. This revolutionary running shoe from the early ‘70s continues to shine largely thanks to the rising demand for retro trainers.
Part of the exclusive collection, this limited SL 72 iteration features a clean white textile upper with beige suede overlays. Red accents envelop the leather 3-Stripes, eyestays, and back tabs, allowing the golden “75” branding and Trefoil logo on the heel to stand out. The dates 18.08.1949 and 18.08.2024 appear on the inner lining, marking the Herzogenaurach-based sportswear giant’s 75th year. A dual-density EVA foam midsole and gum rubber sole offer lightweight comfort, staying faithful to the Super Light pioneer’s original design.
