Salehe Bembury x New Balance 1906R Lava

Globally renowned fashion designer Salehe Bembury is back with another New Balance collaboration, again exhibiting his creative masterclass. Consistently drawing inspiration from nature, Salehe’s latest project, “Heat Be Hot”, sees the NB 1906R decked out in vibrant hues mimicking flare-ups from a volcano. Dubbed the “Lava” rendition, the Salehe Bembury x New Balance 1906R displays a stunning warm-coloured ensemble from front to back.

This eye-popping iteration flaunts a vibrant gradient fade from yellow to orange, enveloping the mesh upper. Metallic silver accents illuminate the synthetic overlays and sturdy heel counter, giving the retro running shoe an extra shine. Signature “N” logos grace the sides in a fiery orange pigment, while co-branded labels decorate the mesh tongue and sockliners. A contrasting blue tint engulfs the inner lining and forefoot branding, cooling down the sneaker’s blazing display of brilliance. The greyscale ABZORB midsole showcases a pre-worn aesthetic and carries red-hot ABZORB SBS inserts on the heel. Below, the durable rubber outsole keeps a plain and simple all-black surface.
