New Balance 2002R Egg Yolk

Boston based brand New Balance has really not held back with this one. While most of the colourways that have been applied to the 2002R have been quite subdued, this “Egg Yolk” colourway alters that pattern with a pop of colour. Perhaps you’re still salty after missing out on Salehe Bembury’s colourful rendition from a few years back, so why not finally put that to bed with this pair instead?

The staple details are still here through the use of New Balance’s signature grey but this time it’s set off against a mustard yellow instead of the usual earthy tones. Whilst the colour palette may be different, the 2002R’s comfort is still present through the use of the N-ERGY midsole and the ABZORB SBS heel cushioning. Material quality is on point as per usual with the suede and mesh upper giving you a balance between breathability and support.
