As one of the initial designs for the NMD R2 you can expect plenty of hype for this release. An earlier womens exclusive was hugely popular which isn’t surprising given that full Primeknit upper and cutting-edge aesthetic.
This shoe takes that contemporary appeal and brings some additional refinement thanks to the full polka dot print. Those white spots cover a navy blue Primeknit base which promises the best in fit and comfort. This sock-like lining promises a flexible and supportive fit.
As always, synthetic welded three stripes sit across the sidewall but these remain understated in a deep shade of navy. A tonal set of laces compliments and a tan coloured leather heel tab brings even more luxury at the rear. A suede crafted heel tab features in a lighter shade of blue complete with classic adidas Originals branding.
The adidas NMD R2 Womens Primeknit Ronin is finished off with a white Boost unit underfoot. An embossed pattern replaces the conventional EVA midsole plug but a chunky grey plug does make an appearance to the inner sole.
