As part of the ongoing Off-White x Nike partnership, designer Virgil Abloh also brought his signature style to some of Converse's best-selling silhouettes. The Off-White x Converse collection reworked the All Star and the Chuck 70 by bringing some of Abloh's iconic industrial and reconstructed design elements.

As part of the initial 'The Ten' collection, the Converse All Star was the first Converse shoe to be worked on by Virgil Abloh. In a modern makeover of the silhouette the upper is made from a translucent material which allows for some personalisation when worn. Industrial design elements are then seen throughout the shoe such as the trademark cable ties around the laces and some exposed stitching which gives a rugged feel.

When it came to working with Converse again, it was the Chuck 70 which was the base for this Off-White collaboration. This time we see diagonal stripes running across the midsole of the shoe which pays homage to Off-White's trademark motif. This is the more subtle of the two silhouettes, staying within a black and white colourway with pops of orange from the cable tie and the sole of the shoe.
