ASICS visits the Soul Society for a two-pack sneaker collaboration celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Bleach anime. Revered for its thrilling plot and interesting storytelling, the series focuses on the world of Soul Reapers, or “Shinigami”, who protect the human world from Hollows. Set to be a limited release, the Bleach x ASICS GT-2160 “Ichigo Kurosaki” pays homage to the franchise’s main protagonist.

Inspired by a Soul Reaper’s uniform, this GT-2160 features a clean white mesh upper with contrasting black suede overlays. Vibrant orange accents represent Ichigo’s signature hair colour, whilst the symbol on the heel resembles his Hollow form. The character’s Japanese name adorns the lateral rear section on the left shoe, complementing the ASICS branding on the tongue. Co-branded logos embellish the graphic sockliners, celebrating the partnership between two Japanese powerhouses. The cream midsole boasts black GEL inserts in the heel for all-day comfort, propped up by a TRUSSTIC plate to deliver stability. Like the “Renji Abarai” iteration, this pair arrives in a special-edition box to commemorate the 20th-anniversary milestone.
