New Balance 550 GS Triple White

The New Balance 550 steps onto the court in a triple-white make-up, a modern-day look for this ‘80s Basketball silhouette. Once designed for the pivots and turns of athletes, the NB550 has moved away from its usual assortment of high-cut gym shorts, instead finding itself shrouded by pair of baggy jeans or cargo pants.

This smaller-sized NB 550 has an all-leather upper in white with breathable perforated mid-panels. The laces, nylon tongue, mesh sock liner and mesh insole are all in the same monochromatic tone. The plump marshmallow-like “N” logos on both the medial and lateral mid-panels match the rest of the upper. Branding is subtle given the white-on-white treatment that follows the rest of the shoe. A white sole unit finishes off the design of these kicks.
