A Ma Maniére x Converse Chuck 70 While You Were Sleeping

A Ma Maniére and Converse shake up the footwear world with this latest Chuck 70. While it is common knowledge that Nike is the parent company of Converse, for many average sneakerheads this Chuck 70 with a Swoosh on it will certainly snap necks. That being said, currently there are no plans for a public release on the AMM x Converse Chuck 70 “While You Were Sleeping”.

As the unofficial seventh addition to the “While You Were Sleeping” capsule, this Converse has definitely stirred thoughts and opinions. Arriving in AMM’s signature plum and sail colourway, this open lid box neatly houses this special edition Nike Converse. Bearing a similar embroidered Swoosh that we saw on Teyana Taylor’s “A Rose From Harlem”, the sighting of the Nike logo on a Converse has caused commotion among basketball fans. Of course Whitner’s meticulous eye for detail is present once more, with a plumb purple lining spotted across the midsole, with an updated woven hemp tongue that really highlights this Converse with the Swoosh edition.

Rumoured to only be getting a Friends & Family release, there are supposedly only 50 pairs available in the UK and a further 100 in the US. Unless you’re close to the brand or James Whitner himself, there is a high likelihood that you won’t be on the seeding list … however if you are that person, make sure to send through some in-hands.
