Releasing as part of the highly coveted ‘Cut & Paste’ collection, this shoe works on the classic Old Skool but merges it with a ton of different styles, resulting in a trainer that’s made to turn heads.
Painted in a sleek black and white colour scheme, the first thing that you’ll notice about the Old Skool Cap LX Regrind Black is the 3D jazz stripe that’s crafted from foam and attached on via a Vans-branded tag across the lateral side panels. Towards the medials, the black base transforms into the American skatewear brand’s signature checkerboard pattern, harkening back to its roots.
Along the toe box and heel, you’ll find buttery smooth panels of suede, while the lacing system is crafted from smooth premium leather for a touch of class. Down below, a beefed up vulcanised rubber midsole is presnet, and to round it all off, an upside down “Ogf The Wall” badge graces the heel in a striking red hue, finalising the classic-meets-contemporary aesthetic.
