Ever since they first started collaborating back in February 2016, Nike and British grime artist Skepta have dropped nothing but heat, and now, as part of the power duo’s latest collection, the Skepta Air Max Deluxe SK has been unveiled, and boy are they something.
Reworking the Air Max Deluxe model that was revived earlier this summer, the SK AIR 3 is constructed from a black neoprene base, and features a static-like pattern on the upper, as well as “NEVER SLEEP ON TOUR” and “12:05 PM JUNE 08 2014” text adorning the vamp. This time stamp is a reference to the time and date he won Best Video at the 2014 MOBO Awards for his “That’s Not Me” visual, which is a neat easter egg. To round it all off, a full length Air unit is present down below, coloured in a stealthy dark red hue.
