The Air Jordan 11 first launched during a season spanning from 1995 to 1996, designed by Tinker Hatfield. It created mad hype not only with basketball stars but sneakerheads looking to cop a grail. Many of the early colourways such as the Jordan XI Concord, the Jubilee 25th Anniversary, the Space Jam, UNC, Win Like 96 and the AJ 11 Midnight Navy were quick to sellout.
It’s the simple construction that makes this shoe so appealing. Premium mesh is utilised for comfort whilst patent leather mudguard panels bring that eye-popping finish. Many of the styles opt for a colour-blocking theme with two or more shades used to complement each other. The Jumpman logo can be found in several spots across the design, while the midsole offers up all the cushioning you could need combined with a solid outsole. Ballistic mesh and carbon fiber panels are utilised across the upper with a futuristic lacing system and eyelets completing the look.
